Many local governments struggle with how to achieve their economic and environmental goals. Often they want to do more towards making the planet a livable place for future generations but don't know how.
Recology takes a practical approach to waste reduction, recycling and landfill diversion. We partner with communities to prevent at least 50% of their "waste" from going to landfills.
At Recology we find ways to make it possible for communities to do more through food and yard debris recycling, and construction and demolition debris reuse programs. We combine our decades of experience and technical expertise to provide farmers, landscapers and contractors with custom compost blends made from a wide range of materials.

Recology also offers document destruction and recycling, material recycling optimization consultation, bulky item collection, mixed commercial recycling, e-waste recycling, construction and demolition recycling including recycling of scrap wood from cabinetmakers, scrap metal, large plastics, broken pallets from warehouses, car doors and bumpers from auto shops, and disposal of residual materials that cannot yet be recycled.

- Curbside collection of commingled recycling, including bottles, cans, paper, plastics, metal and cardboard
- Curbside collection of organics for composting, including food scraps, yard trimmings, soiled paper, and plants
- Debris box rental for home remodeling, yard and garbage clean up, construction, and demolition materials recycling (windows, pipes, wood, cement, roof shingles, scrap metal)
- E-waste recycling of fluorescent tubes, monitors, TVs, computers and other electronics
- Hazardous waste collection, including paints, motor oil, household cleaning and garden pesticides, and household batteries
- Special collection of bulky items such as furniture, mattresses, and appliances
- Special drop-off events at our facilities for residential customers to leave their irregular sized items
- Curbside collection of garbage
